Results already???

So, today i weighed myself...... i lost 3lbs! Now, this is the 1st time I weighed myself in 2 weeks so this doesn't necessarily mean I lost the 3lbs from doing this 30 day slim down but I hope so! I have been working hard for this and i hope the weight loss is the result of it. Only time will tell. I will weigh myself the same time next week and this will give me my results.

Today is day 4, which means back to the 30 day shred video 1. I decided that I will do boxing and some other cardio on my Wii Fit for 1 hour. I decided to do an extra 30 minutes with Wii Fit because it doesn't burn too many calories as i would like it to. So i am going to increase the time for more calorie burning. I am tired, but again I have to do what i have to do! My pastor today talked about staying focus, so this is what I am doing... STAYING FOCUS!!!!

Tomorrow I will put weight loss tips that I learned so far.....

Getting Motivated

Well, I had one lonnnnnnnnnnnng night! The church sleepover has left me exhausted because, of course, teenage girls do NOT sleep at sleepovers! lol... but it was worth it!!! We had an amazing time and I would do it all again for the girls to gain the same experience.

Now, with that said, I have to push myself to go workout today! I have so much on my to do list but at the very very top..... WORKOUT! I am still sleepy after taking a short nap after getting home but I have a goal and the only way to obtain it is to push myself. I know I can do. I've seen other people do it and what makes them any different than me??? NOTHING!!!! I am just as motivated.... i see my dress. Actually, it's more than just my dress that is motivating me. I want to feel great about my size, not just okay. I want to be confident in anything that i wear and not have to worry about how i think it fits on me. I want to be able to pick out an outfit and just wear it without trying 4 or 5 different outfits on before i leave the house. If i can push myself to do homework to achieve a 4.0, I can push myself to lose my 20lbs! I'm singing in my head "just keep swimming, just keep swimming" from Dory in Finding Nemo!

Nobody said this would be easy.... this is HARD!!!! but i can do it. After I finish this blog I am going to go into my living room and turn on day 3 with Jillian Michales!!! DAY 3 - NO MORE TROUBLE ZONES here I come! Oh, wait... after I fix the girls lunch. lol




update.... i did my day 3 and went to a festival today, which means walking the entire time. I don't feel like that was a good workout, so i'm about to go find a workout video to do for at least 30 min at 10:35pm. I am sooooo tired and i don't feel like doing this but I have to get it in! I just pray all this hard work pays off in the end.....

Intense Workout

I did my day two of Jillian Micheal's 30 day slim down. Whew! I can't feel my arms. I would like to thank one of my besties, Malaika, for coming over to workout with me. i only had two sets of weights, a 5lb set and a 10 lb set. I gave her the 5lb which left me with doing Jillian Micheal's intense workout with 10lb weights :( yea, my arms are really noodles right now. I still have to find another 32 min workout to do today so I can have my 1 hour workout goal met. Hmmmm, what to do?!

The Dr. Ian 30 day meal plan is going good. I need to go shopping for so more vegetables. I hate vegetables but i have to do what i have to do to meet this goal! Anyone else want to join me for a workout??


update.... i did the Disco Abs video on Exercise On Demand via cable! Gotta luv free workout videos!!! Dripping in sweat! Great workout!!!! I think i might still do a little more tonight... the night is young..... whooooo hooooooo! lol

Oh, i forgot. I am teaching a praise dance workshop tonight at the Women of Excellence Sleepover for Teens... there go my extra workout :) gotta luv it!!! Gettin it in!

I really want to lose 20lbs before my wedding. That means I have two months to do so. My fiance just challenged me because I work best when I am competing... don't know why! My goal is to lose 20lbs in 30 days, his goal is to lose 14lbs (does that seem fair???). I can do this.... Anyone want to follow along and do this with me?

Finally, something to work with. Now if only i knew how to do hair or someone who actually does kids hair... never ending mission! It's a good thing my kids have good hair!

Searching for kid hairstyles for weddings is much more difficult than I thought. I haven't come across one hairstyle that i like for my kids hair. So, now my mission is to find a cute hairstyle for them. I have been to Barnes and Nobles searching through books, looked in tons of magazines, and surfed the internet. Where are these hairstyles???? I will not panic... i will not panic, i will not panic! lol I still have 2 months to go....
